Fun in the leaves

I took pictures of these guys a few years ago, and now I got to come play in the fall leaves with them in their backyard.  This is my absolute favorite family shot:


And a sweet baseball moment.  Love the windup!


This one makes me smile every time I look at it.  Smoosh - brother hug.


And the guys had the best treehouse ever, complete with the best costumes!


We even got to run around in the woods up the hill from their house.  It was a really fun shoot - thanks for having me out!  Can't wait to show you the rest of the photos.

Three more boys making me smile

So it was about ten days ago now that I took pictures of seven boys over the course of one Friday. The triplets you see in the post below, as well as these adorable three: W, G and M. W and M (the bookends in this shot) are twins, and their little brother G is a bit younger. Aren't they gorgeous?

I first have to hand it to the two moms of three boys who were part of my day. You guys are amazing! Gotta admit I was a little tired after that day. I love being inspired by my clients' energy.

Four cousins and a hose

I am such a huge fan of the perfect belly on 15 month old E on the right... also his "I'm not so sure about this hose thing" face:

Two handsome boys

I've been taking pictures of J and L since J was just a chubby bald baby - now he's such a big boy! I love this sweet moment with the two of them. It's not often that you can get a two year old and a four year old to relax together, but when it works, it really works.

Often times I get a chance to capture kids with their beloved nannies - this was one of those times. Dad was a big help making crazy faces behind me for this one, can you tell?

New family photos

See, I wouldn't have thought of this aspect of adoption - but it makes so much sense...

This sweet family had fun family photos all over their house showing their older three children, but when they adopted T, they realized they needed to update the picture frames with their new family. I'm so glad they did, because it meant I got to spend some time with them.
