Amazing eyes on these girls

Ooh, I love childcare and the slow January season! I took these photos earlier today, and thanks to my mother-in-law's preschool pickup, was able to focus the rest of the day on them. I love being able to turn things around so quickly at this time of year!

So I know this one is a non-traditional family shot, but I just love it.

2009, here I come!

So for my first shoot of 2009, I got to go see these wonderful cuties, J and M. Here's my favorite pensive one of big boy J:

Many years, big girls

I've been taking pictures of these girls every year since I started my business back in 2003, and they've gotten so big!


It's sweet, because they know I'm coming, and remember having done this year after year, so the three of us just wander the house inside and out, and their parents like to keep the pictures as a surprise, so it's up to us to play and take fun pictures. I love this one out in the snow:


And ever since the beginning, the girls have always included their beloved stuffed animals, so we had to get them in a few shots, of course:


And this was their favorite trick of this year's photos - the carry. I have to say it again - I can't believe how big they've gotten!

Happy 1st Birthday, Boys!

I know I missed your first birthday by one day, but I wanted to say a belated happy birthday to these two gorgeous boys:

All my favorites are pictures of all three? What?

So normally I like to choose individual shots of each of the kids, maybe one of all three together when we have a group of cuties in the pictures... but this time I have five favorites that all have all three of them in them. Crazy.
I love how the one thing in really crisp focus in this one is Monty - the pup in the back:

Big sister hugs

A huge hug from big sister M gave little sister J a reason to grin last weekend:

I can't believe how big H is getting. I met her and her mom in my first mom's group, when she and my Annie were only a few weeks old. And now our girls are three! Crazy.
