Grinning cousins

These two cute cousins were born within a couple of weeks of each other, and are just too funny when they play together. C, on the right, loves attacking L, on the left. Looks like he might be going in for a smooch or a tackle just before this shot...

School vacation week

My 3 year old is home with me for the week, so I haven't gotten much real work done, but we had a wonderful playdate this morning with my college roommate and her nearly 2 year old son. Here she is, playing the pied piper (Annie LOVES her):


And the kids got along so well, dancing and playing. Of course they could barely remember other times when they played together, it was like making a new friend:


And fast friends they were. Don't they look related here?

2009, here I come!

So for my first shoot of 2009, I got to go see these wonderful cuties, J and M. Here's my favorite pensive one of big boy J:

What an incredible year it's been! Here's another beautiful girl I've known since she was just a few weeks old. I've loved being there as little N has grown. Here she is now, in all her three year old glory:

Many years, big girls

I've been taking pictures of these girls every year since I started my business back in 2003, and they've gotten so big!


It's sweet, because they know I'm coming, and remember having done this year after year, so the three of us just wander the house inside and out, and their parents like to keep the pictures as a surprise, so it's up to us to play and take fun pictures. I love this one out in the snow:


And ever since the beginning, the girls have always included their beloved stuffed animals, so we had to get them in a few shots, of course:


And this was their favorite trick of this year's photos - the carry. I have to say it again - I can't believe how big they've gotten!

Smiling cuties

I went to college with these cuties' mom, and I loved getting a chance to meet them last week.


They're only 18 months apart, and they're so sweet together.


And big boy M had fun on daddy's shoulders:


But most of all, I love this shot of you guys having a blast - it makes me smile!
