We had snow, and cuteness - all at once

We actually had snow outside as we were shooting - it was a winter wonderland :)


And even when you're ten months old and perfect, there comes a time when the photos are done. I love this! Really great to meet you guys, thanks for a fun shoot.

Big girl with fabulous expressions

Little D's aunt gave her mom a gift certificate this photoshoot about a year ago when she was first born, and her mom saved it until last week. I got to spend some time playing with D in her room - where she went from the sweetest smile ever:


To, moments later, total breakdown. This is the BEST part of photographing toddlers - how hilarious (sorry D - not to laugh at your anguish!) it is when their moods change so uber-quickly. I'd love to see these two photos framed and hung together.

Four gorgeous girls

I met this wonderful family a year ago when we bought their house - and I'm still singing the praises of their organized mom today, every time I open my closets and sigh happily at the custom "Elfa" shelving she installed in every room. Aren't these sisters beauties?

Jimmy Fund Studio Day, my 9:00am appointment:

So I'm finally beginning to blog about the Jimmy Fund Studio Day. It was a week ago, and we raised over $800 for the Jimmy Fund. Thank you all! I'm going to be slowly working on the photos over the next couple of weeks, with a goal of getting all of them all finished for everyone by two weeks from today (4/8). I'll be going through one shoot at a time, in chronological order. So this first one is my 9am from the studio day, and I have to post a zillion background shots for this one because I've been taking pictures of his sisters for years. Bear with me (scroll down) to get to his pictures. This one is from one of the first sessions I had at the Janie & Jack store with his sister back in the spring of '05. Isn't she perfect?
