Two years later, another sweet boy

The last time I saw big brother C, he was 15 days old. Now he's a big brother and 2 1/2 years old. His new brother L was born a couple of weeks ago, and he's one of the most loving new big brothers I've ever met! He was so interested in spending time with and giving his baby love...

Towheads x3

It was a cloudy, icky morning on Sunday, but these three towheaded beauties didn't let that bother them. I've been taking pictures of these guys since big 4 year old twins A and W were just a few weeks old. Can't believe how quickly they've gotten so big!


Dimples, love love them.


And a lovely lady with twinkley eyes:


And another lovely lady with equally twinkley eyes! Baby L has grown into quite a little lady this year :)


Riding bikes in the puddles was a hit:


And did I mention the dimples? Not to mention his "fireman" boots.

A teenie puppy and three fun kiddos

These guys invited their friend over with her new puppy for the photoshoot - they thought it'd make for cute photos as the kids had time to play with him. They were right!


And little sister B came down from her nap and gave us some big smiles:

Even on a yucky rainy day last weekend we grabbed a few minutes running around outside with the pup:


And last but not least, the boys regaled me with a fabulous concert. They'd even printed up tickets for the show... I was seated in the "orchestra" and requested not to move around... even given my press pass ;)


The rest of the audience was in awe of the show, too. Thanks for having me back, guys. As always, it was wonderful seeing you :)

Rainy Day? No problem.

We've had a couple of rainy terrible weekends here in Boston, which means many times my clients will decide they'd rather hold off and wait for another appointment time (which sometimes even means waiting for a wait list spot) so that they can get pictures of their kids outdoors. When kids are older and like to run around, I totally understand this rationale, I do. But sometimes, even on a rainy Sunday (like this one a couple of weeks ago), the one family who kept their rainy day spot was psyched - we got to slip outside between raindrops and get some fantastic shots:


Look at this lovely big girl! I haven't seen her since she was 6 months old, and now look at the twinkle in her eye. Gorgeous.


And her big brother, the handsome Mr. N:


I am a troublemaker, though. I totally instigate sibling fights - I'm terrible. But sometimes the best expressions come of it. Me: "Why don't you splash your sister?"


I think maybe I should get my knuckles rapped for this. It's not nice at all of me. But isn't this the best expression anyway?


We did spend time inside, though, and these guys were perfect together:

Sweet 3 week old boy

This little sweet boy did so well on his picture day - he loved playing with his mom and dad:


And cuddling in his dad's arms (isn't he gorgeous?)

He got a little hungry at one point, and gave me the very best pout:


But once he got his point across, got his bottle and some rocking from dad...

All was right with the world. Those perfect little fingers wrapped around dad's just make me smile. Wonderful to meet you guys!

2 wonderful weeks old

I love maternity sessions that I get to do just before a baby's born, and then come back mere weeks later to meet a new perfect bundle! This gorgeous boy was born just two weeks before I met him last week, and although when I was visiting he hadn't been sleeping much for his parents, I think he must have just been busy being a sweet perfect boy at all hours for them ;)

So you'd never know in this 2nd shot that it was pouring rain out, would you? These guys were such good sports to plop right now on the stairs to recreate their maternity shot from a few weeks before... and then toss me their umbrella at the last second. You thought teenie boy T was squinting his eyes because he was sleeping? No, just avoiding the rain in his eyes :)
