This picture keeps making me laugh every time I look at it.  I love the way little bro B is eyeing his big bro C - and Mom's getting a kick out of the sillies, too.

Three beauties on a gorgeous day

I have to admit I am SOOOoooo excited to welcome the warm weather back.  This weekend I had a Sunday full of really fun photoshoots, and we got to go outside to play in all of them.  Kids can really be themselves running around crazy outside - I just love capturing it:

And the twins took turns on the chair inside - what fabulous smiles they had!

Red Sox (oh all right, and Yankee) sweater photoshoot

So if you get my newsletter, you know about my client Mollygoggles, who makes these fantastic baseball-themed sweaters.  I did a "call" for Red Sox/Yankee sweater models about a month or so ago, and had an incredible response... over 80 children's parents wrote me back and said their children would love to help us model these sweaters.  It was a nice problem to have, and luckily I left it to Kati at Mollygoggles to choose her models.

After a couple of rainouts, we ended up with a gorgeous morning today, and a pile of fantastic kids showed up to smile, play and model their little hearts out:

And I think this is my favorite sweater - it makes me want a little boy!

Actually, all the sweaters are kind of fabulous, and the kids brought them to life so much:

You guys were wonderful, fabulous, perfect models, thanks so much for coming out this morning.  I have to force myself to put these pictures away for a week or two and finish up some other work, but as soon as they're all ready I'll send you an email.  Thanks again!

Six months old and such a cool boy

This cutie pie didn't stop smiling from the moment I walked in the door until I left - here he is in his cool collared shirt giggling at dad:

A year later, lighter hair and some amazing eyelashes

I met this big boy a year ago when he was just a few weeks old. Isn't he such a handsome boy?

Cloth diapers and giggles

So I was a faithful cloth diaper-er with Annie when she was little (thanks in large part to my wonderful laundry-doing husband), and that was before Salina Gonzalez opened the amazing Diaper Lab shop in Somerville. If only they'd had their shop a few years earlier, I would have been a faithful customer... cloth diapers have come so far since the days of pins and plastic covers...

So, long story short, with my babe on the way I realized I needed to invest in some newborn-size cloth diapers (we used a service with Annie was tiny, and so we didn't own our first teenie diapers). I got in touch with Salina, and the rest is history! She and her husband have two cuties in diapers...


And they have fabulous, incredible energy. The rodeo hat on E here is my favorite:

Jess, what did you do today?

I had an incredible day today as Ashmont Nursery School's photographer - the kids were fantastic.  And of course my favorite pictures are the crazy-faced ones.  Had to do a little collage because they made me smile so much...

Sweet, and just one month old

When I arrived at baby V's house yesterday I walked in the door and her poor mom and dad looked nervous. The poor pumpkin had been having a really tough couple of days - gas pain was making her cry almost inconsolably. It was about two months ago that I last saw them for their maternity photoshoot, and I think they were worried we wouldn't get great pictures if poor V was having a tough time. But I love the moments like this that we got:


And after some time bouncing on daddy's knee, I think V's belly felt better:


And a little snooze never hurts, too:


Then we tried a nice warm bath, which definitely did the trick (and made for super sweet pictures):


Because then the sweet girl seemed much better:


And even gave us some rare 4 week old smiles:


I loved getting a chance to meet V and see you guys, thanks so much for having me back. Can't wait to see her this summer when she even bigger!

Grinning cousins

These two cute cousins were born within a couple of weeks of each other, and are just too funny when they play together. C, on the right, loves attacking L, on the left. Looks like he might be going in for a smooch or a tackle just before this shot...
