Jimmy Fund Studio Day will be Tues, 3/18
I'm doing my bi-annual Jimmy Fund Studio Day on Tuesday, March 18th, and I have fourteen appointments available from 9am - 4:30pm. As usual, 100% of the session fees go to the Jimmy Fund. To reserve a time, you can bid on the different timeslots on eBay. (You can read all the details about the day here, on my website studio page.)
I've just launched all the auctions on eBay, and there's a cool donation tracker where you can track the status of the different bids.
Hope to see you in March!

Snowy giggles
So one of my fabulous wonderful clients from years ago has been referring me like crazy to all her friends and family - and the best part is that everybody she refers is just so sweet and fun. Case in point: her brother (top right) and his family. I love these guys; I met them a couple of years ago when their older boy, B, was just about one, and this morning I got to come back and meet their new 3 month old little guy, J.
B is the sweetest big brother - can you believe this?
And checking themselves out in the mirror:
Upside DOWN
Mom! You pulled off my glove!
And this was two winters ago, when B was just a little over one.
And these guys were the subject of one of my all time favorite shots:

Big smiles from everybody
This morning I got to take photos of these two adorables - here's A, only moments after waking up. I wish I woke up in this kind of mood!
And here's lovely L, with her magic wand. Do you believe those twinkling eyes?
Little 11 week old A had a blast showing me his tummy-time skills. The arm rolls are just so perfect.
And we put on some dance tunes and L showed us her stuff. She had such fun jumping and dancing around the living room.
My favorite of the two of them came after we thought we were done (doesn't that always happen?). L decided she was done with sitting and smiling on the couch next to A, but mom had a special treat lollipop, which L promptly wanted to share with her brother. I love how she's showing him how to lick it... but I guess he wasn't particularly interested.

Perfect cousins
I just got home from shooting these three and I had to sneak a peek at a few of the photos. This is big cousin S, holding his little cousins, laughing at wonderful Grampy (who was such a help)!
Little A took a chunk of mom's hair for a snack, but I think the texture surprised him!
And S was the best cousin ever! He even let me take a few solo shots of him.
Of course we did some reading during the session...
This is A & A back in November - when little A was only 2 months old. Delicious!

A-DOR-able times two
I spent the early part of the morning with these two cuties today - they were fantastic. Super sweet smiles and lots of different kinds of pictures, I can't wait to work on the rest of the photos. (Note to mom & dad: I should have all the photos ready for you by Wednesday. Can't wait to show you!)
And this guy had a super cool custom Fenway/Boston mural on his bedroom wall that a friend had painted ... really neat. What's the best part of this picture? The tootsies, no question.
And gorgeous A, with the twinkley eyes. Nothing beats the smile.
Brr - but squeeze those cuties good and tight!
Waiting for baby brother
I spent the later part of the morning with these guys -- we had a great time. I'm excited to work on the rest of the photos; they're so playful. Here, little A loved cuddling on the couch with her mom and dad. Doesn't their living room paint look cool as a background texture? We got some really gorgeous pictures of Mom's belly, too. (Mom and Dad - the rest of the photos will be ready by Friday at the latest, OK?)
I love this princess in her crown. What a sweet smile.
And I couldn't help but post this one - I love it. It's an outtake from our "kissing mommy's belly" shots, both expressions are so perfect... I can't stop smiling whenever I look at it.

A new brother AND a sister
I spent some time with this wonderful family last weekend - and what a fabulous big sister A was. She truly enjoyed her time playing with them. She's only had a few months of practice at this big sister thing, but she's obviously already got it down pat.
And I just love this one with the two girls.
What a sweet, contemplative sister. I love this moment - it's as if she's lost in thought, watching those teenie squirmy legs that have changed her life so much.
